Cooking Class

Starting with fresh ingredients and lots of lovely spices, we will work our way through 2 main dishes and some sides. We will dry roast and grind spices, make our own curry paste and eat the end product! Along the way we will talk about food journeys, growing your own herbs and storing them.

Dish 1 – Chicken with coriander and lemongrass in lettuce cups.  Vietnamese in origin, this delicious dish is always popular.

Dish 2 – Chicken Rendang is an Indonesian curry that we will flavour mildly for this class, but can be made extra hot at home if you like!

Sides – Some fruit and yoghurt based dishes and maybe a flat bread

We will eat what we make.  If you have any food allergies or special considerations, this may not be the class for you.  We can ensure certain aspects of the meal are gluten and dairy free, but cannot guarantee a nut free environment as this is a shared kitchen.
