Hit The Road - Song Writing Comp!

VicRoads, Yarra Ranges Youth Services and Soundwave FreeZa present a unique and exciting opportunity to young people making music either on their own or in bands to enter the 'HIT THE ROAD' songwriting competition!

This program is aimed at promoting the message of road safety and songs must relate to the subject in some way, i.e. txting, drink driving, looking after your mates, touched by the road toll, drug driving, speeding, hoons, etc.

The competition is open to all genres and styles, submissions can be in any format, rough demos, live videos, computer demos, phone recordings..CDs, tapes, web links...aac, M4A, mp3s.. whatever you use to capture the creativity!

Winning submissions will have their song professionally recorded, mixed and mastered for inclusion on the 2012 HIT THE ROAD CD and media resources, web doco and launch party!!

This is a free to enter competition and ENTRIES ARE BEING RECIEVED NOW!
