National Youth Week

Every year Australian communities celebrate National Youth Week with a range of activities and events for young people and the community to get involved in!

A popular annual celebration in the Yarra Ranges, National Youth Week encourages young people to share ideas, attend fun and interactive events, have their say on issues of concern to them, showcase their talents and celebrate their contribution to the community.

The NYW School Holiday program (formerly Autumndayze) offers a number of activities for young people in the shire every March/April.  These activities have previously included rollerskating, jewellery making, screenprinting workshops and a trip to Luna Park.

If you have any suggestions about an event, activity or forum you would like to see happen in your community during National Youth Week 2010 please contact us on 9294 6716.
