Youth Event Committees
Did you know that Youth Services has four youth events committees? The committees are made up of groups of young people who plan, develop and organise activities and events for young people in their area. The four committees are:
Freeza – Soundwave Productions: located in Mooroolbark;
Static: located in Yarra Junction;
What The Funk: located in Healesville; and
Hilltop Sounds: our newest group, situated in Belgrave
Are you interested in music, culture, live bands, dance parties, skate & BMX comps, etc? Do you want to learn skills in event management, sound engineering, promotion and design? Then one of these committees could be for you! For more information or to join ring Youth Services on 9294 6716.

Static » This new event committee was formed in 2007 with the aim of increasing events and activities in the Upper Yarra area.
What the Funk » This Healesville based events committee has been running live music events and activities for the past 6 years.
Hilltop Sounds » Hilltop Sounds is an exciting opportunity for young people in the Hills area (Monbulk/Upwey/Belgrave) to get involved in an events committee that will plan and implement events in their local community!
