Jindi Woraback Youth Mentoring

The Jindi Woraback youth mentoring program is for young people aged 12-25 years of age who are interested in having some fun and sharing interests and recreational activities within the community with a volunteer adult mentor.

The program involves a one-to-one relationship between a volunteer adult and a young person.

Activities that the young person and mentor participate in depends on their interests. These might include bike riding, shopping, sports, art and crafts.

Young people wanting to get involved can contact Youth Services directly or, alternatively, a referral to our program can be made through family, schools and other agencies.

Mentors are people over 18 years of age who commit their time freely to a one to one relationship with the young person.  They act as a positive role model and encourage new experiences and opportunities.
